Measure your CdA (aero drag) and Crr (rolling resistance) from a test ride — the Chung virtual-elevation method recovers them from your recorded power.

How to run a good test
  • Solo. Drafting reads a false, low CdA.
  • Steady power. No coasting, braking, or stops — braking sheds energy the meter can't see.
  • Fast. 35+ km/h; below that, drag is too small a share of the effort to resolve.
  • Varied speed. An out-and-back, or a hill both ways — one speed can't split CdA from Crr.
  • One course. Repeat the same stretch; laps on different terrain won't agree.
  • One position. Each position is its own setup — don't shift mid-test.
  • Clean road. No junctions, traffic, or corners tight enough to brake.

Your setups

A setup is one aero configuration — bike, wheels, position, and kit sharing a single CdA and Crr. Change any of them (deeper wheels, a lower position, new tyres) and it's a new setup. is the Bike Split pacing default; Make default switches it; deletes.

Test ride

Search your whole history by name or year — not just recent rides.

Conditions

Assumes calm air — the most reliable field result. The ride's estimated wind is shown below; apply it only if it was genuinely windy (a weather-model average is often wrong at road level). Mass = your weight + the setup's bike weight.
